How we handle your info

The short version: a real person reads what you share, nothing goes public, and the honest stuff stays private. Here is the longer version, in plain words.

What we collect

What you tell us in the intake. Your name, how to reach you, what you do, and your honest answers. That's it. We never ask for your address, your birth date, or your social security number.

Who sees what

Your recruiter sees everything you shared. That's their job.

Businesses are named to candidates up front. If you're looking for work, your info is shared with a business only when you hear the real job and say yes to it. Until then they see your skills and your line of work, never your name.

Your honest answers are never shown to any business. Not before a match, not after. Same goes the other way: a business's honest answers are never shown to you.

What we never do

No public profiles. No job board. We don't sell your info or share it with anyone outside Talent of Buffalo. No computer decides anything about you here. A person does.

Feedback about workplaces

When we keep notes on what people liked or disliked about kinds of work, those notes have no names on them. They're stored by role type and industry only, dated by month, so they can't be traced back to you.

Your contact info

Your email and phone number are stored encrypted. They're shared with a matched business only when your recruiter makes the introduction, and only after you said yes to that business.
